<aside> 👋 *Hiya! (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ :・゚ I'm super psyched that you're interested in XR Design.
I created this guide because I wish I had something like it when I first started.
**Keep in mind, this list isn't exhaustive—**XR design spans numerous disciplines, and delving deeply into each would make this guide ten times longer. But I hope this guide will give a good understanding of the different verticals required to be successful as an XR designer.
I plan to regularly update and expand this guide with new information and resources. Keep an eye on Instagram @krystianzun for the latest updates 👀

Version 1.0.0.
Over the past several months, I've been building tools and initiatives to support the XR community. One recurring challenge I've encountered, and heard from others, is how difficult it is to find jobs and opportunities within the XR space.
That's why I'm building XR Jobs Board.
A dedicated platform for anyone (designers, developers, producers, management, etc.) seeking jobs or hiring in the VR/AR/XR field.
Although it's still a work in progress, if you’re interested, visit xrjobsboard.com to subscribe and stay updated.
Before delving into the specifics, there are a few key points I'd like to emphasize.
Designing for XR presents a great opportunity to engage with some of the most exciting and unique design challenges. But it’s hard. Ambiguity, technical hurdles, and the lack of established best practices can make the journey often daunting and frustrating. There will be days when Unity (or any other tool) and whatever you’re trying to do just won’t work, either due to some random errors you haven't seen before or attempting to achieve something no one has ever done before and struggling to find potential technical solutions. Then, you will have weeks when you're completely stuck with a project and have no motivation or excitement for XR and design that you had at the beginning.
This is normal, but in these moments, you need to have grit to suck it up and plow ahead.
